Wendy's Broken Heart

Thanks to you all who sent good wishes to Wendy on learning of her heart bypass surgery in May. It was a shock to us all but we are happy to say she is making a full recovery and will be back up to speed very shortly.
She is of course being sensible and staggering her return to work to help build up her stamina.
From 23rd August Wendy will be available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. It will be good to have her back!!!

Another CRC Baby

Congratulations to Anna and her husband Mick who now have a beautiful baby boy Jacob. We are all pround to be crc aunty and uncles again and look forward to welcoming Anna back sometime in early 2011.

Carly Moves into the City

Carly has just found a new apartment in the city centre and is moving in this weekend. So now all of CrC have a place to crash after we have party partied!!!!!
Seriously Carly, we hope you are happy in your new home and we are looking forward to the housewarming!!xx

The Latest Baby addition

WE seem to be in the process of adding to the population here at CRC as we have now got a new crc baby! Becky, receptionist at Chapel Allerton has produced a beautiful baby boy. Congratulations and much love to Becky and Adam and Welcome to baby Isaac.xx

A New CRC babe

Chapel Allerton will soon be saying "see you soon" to Anna who is having a baby later in the year. Anna got married last year and both her and her husband Mick have wasted no time at all in expanding their new family. Watch this space for news of the little one's arrival. Congratulations to you both x

Laura's New Home

City's newest Stylist Laura moved to us from London. A very successful stylist down there it was a big move for her but she has decided she really loves us all here at CRc and has moved into a fab new appartment with her boyfriend in Leeds. See once we get them here they just can't leave us!! Can't wait for the housewarming Party!!! Congrats Laura and welcome to the northxx

Carly visits "Down Under" Again

Carly so loved her working visit to Australia last year with the Fame Team that she has just returned from a 3 week holiday there.
She reportedly had a wonderful time, even camping out in the outback. Those of you who know Carly will realize how hard she found that! Not only no electricity so no hairdryer but a shovel and torch for the aussie style dunnie!!!
Still she's hoping to return for another holiday next year so she definitely overcame the hardships.

By Jove He Did It!!!!

Well he managed to do it! Charles has completed the On Yer Bike Challenge and rode his way around the many many volcanos on the island of Lanzarote for the charity HABB. It was a tough four days of cycling climbing to over 1000 feet but the rewards were two fold; the views and the free peddling back down, in one case for over 11 km!! He had a geat time, made some really good friends, got fit, but most importantly raised about £1500 for a worthwhile cause. Thanks to everyone who sponsored him, it is greatly appreciated.

Big Shoes to Fill

With Manni heading off into marital bliss, Karen and Charles have been scouring the nation to find a suitable replacement.
This was no small task and we ended up with a shortlist of some really strong candidates.
Chloe will be joining the crc team from next week and will be working alongside Manni for 3 weeks and then.................. she's on her own!!!!!! Good luck Chloe and welcome to the team, we are sure you will be great.

Time to say bye bye!

Manni has been Karen and Charles' PA for some 4 years and has definately been their "right arm" but sadly she is leaving on Saturday 25th October.
Their loss though is Minderpals' gain as they are to marry on Saturday 8th November, here in Leeds, and after an idyllic honeymoon in the Maldives, will begin their married life in Birmingham.
Although she will be greatly missed we are thrilled for her and all of us wish her well in her new life.

Another baby CRC

CRC just keeps on growing, we have lots of mini CRC’s now and another on the way.

Tasha is the latest team member to succumb and her little one is due at the end of November. Just in time for a very different Christmas for her and Jean.

Tasha will be starting her maternity leave on Saturday 18th October so if you are one of her clients make sure she recommends her stand in whilst she enjoys her leave.

On Yer Bike Charlie

Charles has been invited to take part in a sponsored bike ride in LANZAROTE in November. The ride (or rides as he has discovered they really are) is in aid of HABB, the hairdressers benevolent, which is our industry own charity. HABB does fantastic work, really helping hairdressers who may have fallen on hard times, for example, through death, disability or critical illness. Over four days Charles and co will be covering approximately 200km! If you notice Charles looking a little tired (and hopefully a bit thinner?)He is already training. As he is desperate for sponsors he will be very happy to tell you more…
