Thank you for attending an appointment at CRC. Obviously, we are having to implement new procedures including different staff working rotas, different opening hours and exacting health and safety procedures to include self-distancing. The salon will be zoned to ensure 2 metre distance between styling units and backwashes for your, and our, safety. We also have several other guidelines which will be listed in this email which we ask you to follow to allow us to operate safely and preserve the health of our team and our clients.

The salon will be open 7 days a week. Monday through Saturday 8am to 8pm and Sundays 9-4.

All the staff will be split into 2 teams and each team will work alternate days over a rolling 2-week period. This means your stylist will not work the same day each week. This is to give maximum hours possible to everyone and to protect the team and ensure that if one of the team members becomes ill, the rest of that team ONLY will have to self-isolate. The other team can then continue to carry on working.

Unfortunately, if your appointment has to be cancelled due to a stylist illness we will probably not, as we have in the past, be able to juggle appointments to see you on that day and a new appointment will have to be made for you to attend.

If you have succumbed to using a home colour/box colour in any shape or form please do let us know by email, with a photo of your hair (if possible), as we shall need to book you a consultation with a colour specialist to determine any special service you may need and you will need a skin test 48 hours before your appointment

Please be aware that post lockdown and a bigger colour regrowth will result in more colour being used to get your hair back to its best. We shall not be increasing our prices (as most salons are apparently) but we will obviously be charging for full head/excess regrowth applications on your first visit depending on the amount of colour we need to use. Pre-lightening clients will also need extra time booked as it will be an excess regrowth application procedure.

  1. Please do not attend the salon if You, or anyone you live with is unwell.
  2. Please arrive exactly at the time of your appointment as there will be a limited waiting area in the salon
  3. Please attend the salon wearing your mask and remain wearing it during your service whilst being attended to by a team member. If waiting to have your colour develop you may remove it whilst unattended at the unit, but please wear it to move around the salon.
  4. Please do not enter the reception area if there is already one person with each Receptionist
  5. Please queue outdoors when waiting to enter the salon
  6. Please attend the appointment alone including appointments for children over 12.
  7. Please use the hand sanitiser on entering the salon.
  8. Please do not bring coats, bags, scarves, jewellery, shopping or personal items into the salon. We cannot accommodate any storage of personal items on surfaces.
  9. Magazines or books will NOT be available in the salon for you to read, so please bring your own and carry it on your person at all times if you wish to read. We cannot accommodate laptops at the present time.
  10. We shall have a limited refreshment menu to serve in paper cups and we ask you to dispose of your own trash into a bin. This will be served to clients waiting to have colour developing or cut and finish clients who may drop their mask occasionally to take a sip. Eating is not allowed sadly.
  11. Please always maintain a 2-meter distance
  12. Please do not come into the salon to make appointments or purchase retail, please telephone or email.
  13. Online booking is suspended now and until all lockdown appointments are made
  14. Payment must be by card as no cash payments will be processed.
  15. A deposit of 50% will be taken at the time of booking for every appointment. Unfortunately, we must now implement a strict 24-hour cancellation policy or loss of deposit due to limited availability and longer appointment times.
  16. Every appointment will have a £6 hygiene surcharge added to the bill (until the world returns to normality!) This is to cover the additional costs of all disposable one time use of gowns, towels, capes, gloves, masks etc
  17. If you wish to give a gratuity, please give directly to the Stylist/Apprentice, who will have a personal box, and not to the reception team, as we will not be carrying any change in the salon and therefore it cannot be added to your card payment.
  18. Please use the disabled toilet only (in the upper salon area) during your visit, and only if absolutely necessary. Please let a team member know immediately after use so it can be sanitised.
  19. Please do not handle the products either in salon or in reception retail area. A team member will assist you.
  20. Sadly, at the moment, children’s (under 12) and infant hair appointments will be very limited as this would entail 2 persons attending one appointment. We shall make available 3-4 slots per day at a specific time of day when we will be able to accommodate these appointments. Please note that the child chairs will not be in use as this would be very difficult to sanitise due to the number of buttons etc. Your child must be able to sit on the booster seat. Guidelines permitting, we hope to adjust this in the near future.

We are excited to see you back in CRC and sorting out your lockdown hair, albeit under very different circumstances.
